Having been a summer of firsts for her – first kiss, first crush, Lily is coming to realise she likes other girls, something she can only share with her gay best friend, Simon.
However, a spiteful moment in the changing rooms marks her out as a target for bullying, impacting on her self-confidence. She finds support from Simon and an older woman, Oonagh, to help her find the strength to face her bullies and be her true authentic self.

Nominated for six Irish Film and Television Awards including best director and film, it stars Clara Harte, Dean Quinn and award-winning actress Amy-Joyce Hastings (TV’s The Tudors, Sanctuary). There’s also supporting roles from Danielle Galligan (Netflix’s Shadow & Bone), and Niamh McCormack (Netfix’s Everything Now), who both appear in the Netflix drama, House of Guinness.

Reviews

"At times funny, at others poignant, this is a totally necessary and thoroughly watchable teen-centric drama with a massive beating heart."

The Pink Lens

"a queer teen’s Dublin awakening is Euphoria with Guinness."
